A little bit late in posting these thoughts but here goes. :)
I was a little disappointed in the latest Bond movie, QUANTUM OF SOLACE. Daniel Craig is still very good as James Bond but the rest of the film needs more work. The action scenes used the current 'shaky cam' method and were just hard to follow what was going on. The plot was pretty weak as well. The main villain even died off-screen. That's not very 'Bond.'
Overall not the worst Bond movie ever, but fairly mediocre.

I agree. I like Craig as Bond a lot, but this didn't feel much like a Bond movie.
The only thing I did like was the examination of the question of whether or not vengeance was ever satisfying.
I agree with you and JW. I really enjoy Craig but thought the plot was weak and some of the film moments weren't very satisfying. There were some good fight scenes that reminded me of something from a BOURNE movie, but overall it was nowhere near as good as CASINO ROYALE which I loved.
The fight scenes were like BOURNE movies but with bad editing to me. :)
Hopefully they'll get back o track with the next movie.
